About the potter and the pottery
Form and Function
We hope everything that comes out of our kilns get used and enjoyed. We want all of our pottery you own to be your favorite. Nearly everything is better in handmade pottery and we love knowing all the things made are being LOVED!
Using a wheel and pair of Skutt kilns in we create functional and affordable items for everyday use such as bowls, mugs, and planters. The Cone 6 stoneware and glazes I utilize nearly all come from locally owned Georgie's Ceramic and Clay Co! We love function and usability and hope our pottery reflects that.
A little bio
January 13th, 2023, was my last day as the General Manager at Liberty Natural Products, where I worked for nearly three decades.
This new chapter for Shane Reaney Studios will allow us to participate in many more events and markets. We will also be able to accommodate more special requests and expand our ever evolving line of handcrafted soaps. We are so grateful for the incredible community support that has made this giant leap possible!
