Form and Function
We want everything that comes out of our kilns be held and used!
We think nearly everything is better in handmade pottery.
AND...
We love knowing all the things we have made are being enjoyed.
Using a Skutt potters wheel and pair of Skutt kilns, we create functional and affordable ceramics for everyday use. The Cone 6 stoneware clay and glazes we utilize nearly all come from locally owned Georgie's Ceramic and Clay Co! We love function and usability and hope our pottery reflects that.
A Little Bio
I have always been a maker who enjoys creating with my hands. From playing musical instruments...to building functional greenhouses and other home construction projects...AND even trying to perfect exotic cuisine in the kitchen, I do not feel like myself if I am not challenging myself to make the world better.
When we found ourselves in possesion of a small pottery wheel and kiln, it seemed like a fresh new opportunity to apply my hands to something NEW!
I received some essential tips from a few friends and from there...taught myself how to make a few bowls...the rest of our story is a journey of endless discovery and many many magical miracles coming out of the kilns!
